INNOVATIVE WORK-1
PHOTO ALBUM
The innovative model that I created for my teaching practice -phase 1 was a photo album showcasing the life and legacy of world famous poet and playwright William Shakespeare.
Benefits of using a photo album
1.Visual Engagement: Using a photo album provides visual stimuli that can make learning more engaging and memorable for students.
2.Contextual Understanding: Images can provide context that helps students better understand and relate to historical periods, cultural settings, and personal aspects of Shakespeare’s life.
3.Digestible Content: A photo album breaks down complex historical and literary information into smaller, more manageable parts, making it easier for students to grasp.
4.Personal Connection: Seeing images related to Shakespeare’s life and works can help students develop a personal connection to the material, making it more interesting and relatable.
5.Creative Engagement: The creative aspect of using a photo album can make the learning process more enjoyable.
Students' Response
Students were curious to read the photo album and were able to acquire an understanding about the life and legacy of the playwright, more than they would have from a profile chart. The photo album was able to enhance student engagement as well as fostered interactive learning experiences.
