REFLECTIVE JOURNAL-WEEK 4

 It was the reopening day after Christmas vacation. In 8 I made students talk about their new year resolutions. I also took the period to provide the students with the task as part of conducting my sociometry experiment. In 9th I asked the students to write about 5 things they want to do in this year. I also made them recall the previous chapter a prayer in Spring by asking them questions. On day 15 I went to 9 and ask the students to recite the poem "A prayer in Spring". I ask them to write a paragraph on the poet's treatment of nature in the poem. I also made some students say the summary of the poem. On day 16 I started teaching the chapter the trio in 9 I gave them an entry activity and conducted link talk by introducing the author of the story. I used ICT and showed pictures related to the life of the author and his writing career. In 8 I provided notes for the poem my grandmother's house. On day 17 I introduced the author of the new chapter The School first sympathy in 8th and showed the profile chart and introduced the student to his writing style, genre and theme.In 9 I taught students the poetic devices with examples from the poem "A Prayer in Spring".

The use of audio visual 8 facilitated highly enriched learning experiences and made the class a lot more interesting . The students participated in the learning process by conducting active group discussions and completing task creatively . But there were times when I struggled with maintaining discipline.
