REFLECTIVE JOURNAL- WEEK 3
On day 11 I made students to discuss upon the answers of the questions and the chapter a prayer in Spring I also made them write the critical appreciation of the poem. In 8 I taught the poem my grandmother's house. I used flash cards and pictures for delivery in the meanings of difficult words I also sighted some real life example to make students understand the context of the poem. On date 12 I conducted revision in a for Christmas exam I made a student work out grammar questions from previous year question papers. In 9th I conducted revision and cleared the doubts of students. On day 13 conducted revision in 9th and made the students write a diary entry profile and character sketch. I also thought them reported speech and made the workout a few questions from that section. I gave them tips for writing the exam.
Since it was revision I tried to identify the areas where the students struggle and implemented scaffolding techniques by initially providing clear explanation and modelling the thought process required for a particular task.
